Maxick & The Roots Of Health/Strength
One thing I found peculiar but I’m now starting to understand a bit more is the importance of circulation.
These folks used a system of isolating and contracting various muscles not only to gain strength and gain muscle but also to improve circulation.
“We aim. first and foremost, at the improvement of the Circulation, it being through that channel alone that every function of the body can gain vigour, and acquire increased activity and endurance.”1 (Maxick and Monte Saldo)
Our blood fails to circulate our tissues will not receive the needed oxygen and nutrients needed to function and without this function things falls apart. Out inner terrain becomes damaged.
Maxick’s system is complex and takes a great deal of time to get the hang of it. What I like about Maxick’s training philosophy is that he tries to address the roots of what strength and health are.
A circulatory system that efficiently delivers needed oxygen and nutrients around the body
And a neuromuscular system that can go from 0 to 100 on command.
Although I believe Maxick and his gang achieved something profound I believe that there can be a better way to address the roots of what makes a vibrant and strong individual in a time-efficient manner.

Video Course Intro
Why & Explanation
But this time is different as I’ve decided to throw this on here and on my youtube in video format and will provide yall with a better visual representation of what overcoming isometrics is. In addition to this you get to see my awkward self look into the lens of an inanimate object and stumble over my words. What more could a person want?
So I have the start of a series of videos laying out what overcoming isometrics is along with the myriad of ways you can use it to
Enhance your endurance
Strengthen your tendons
Enhance your strength
Improve your circulation/cardio
Enhance your speed
Exercise acts as a preventative medicine as long as it’s consistent. By moving around, lifting your body, or lifting weights you are improving your circulation.

Well, being in Corps and having a passion for fitness has allowed me to test this out and see what fitness modality can be adhered to the longest no matter the lack of…
an abundance of food
an abundance of time

an abundance of space
The only thing I’ve found that can accomplish the building up of a person’s strength no matter where their environment is is overcoming isometrics.
