would not recommend counting calories either as long as you avoid processed foods & seed oils you mentioned, & try to just eat when you’re actually hungry… maybe also have a healthy fallback food like apples that you can eat without penalty when stress eating. allowing yourself adequate time for restful sleep is also underrated.
agree that improving body composition to a higher muscle to fat ratio is an investment that makes it progressively easier to maintain your desired weight going forward ✅
