I completely agree with this: “If I’ve learned anything in the past couple of years is to assume the opposite of what I’ve been told. When I choose to live counter to the narrative or travel on the less obvious path, I more often than not receive immense benefits.”

Thank you. It's great but then you realize how much we are lied to lol. Still a net positive though.

I remember an old MD tell me that most men die WITH prostate cancer, but seldom die OF prostate cancer. How many people are walking around our society with cancer cells in their body who live long lives, never knowing of the cancer.

Then there are the ones who regularly check for cancer...then when, it's found seek an oncologist. Because the doctor is trusted as an "expert," the patient faithfully follows the treatment, even if said treatment makes the patient sicker than the cancer ever did.

I will always wonder how things might have turned out for my wife if her oncologist had not provided the ghastly drugs that hastened her death more than the cancer did...

Im so sorry for your loss. I’ve often thought about how I would deal with such a diagnosis….which means I pray to have the courage to avoid doctors and never allow chemotherapy!!!
