It’s a cookbook.Maybe an educational cookbook would be a somewhat adequate description. Anyway, it’s a ‘how to’ fermentation book. It provides some background on traditional cultures and how they preserved their foods. It touches some on Weston Price and his work with different people groups before they were ‘civilized’. I haven’t actually read it for years, but it was kind of a launch pad for me and my wife when we were first learning of the benefits of disregarding modern ‘wisdom’.
