Story
Growing up in Southern California there was always something to do. Go to the mountains, the ocean, the skate park, drive-in movie theaters, etc. Most required being outside and so putting on sunscreen was something that I always did. There were a few times I forgot to bring some or put some on and later got a little bit of sunburn.
I always thought sunscreen was needed until I stumbled on some good food science (not the mainstream narrative kind) while working for an outdoor construction business. It was at this point I realized that it was not as important. That there were better and more simple solutions to our problems. That if we get to the root of why the sun is all of the sudden harming us in greater numbers we could fix it.
