I enjoy the original/authentic voice of this stack. Your entry is right on for truth. Five years ago this month we were borged by "15 days to slow the spread." We have not recovered. The silence is horrible. Thank you for not being silent. Truly sorry about your Mother.

When we benefit from standardization, we require the employees in that company to follow one set of rules for production, hours of work, conditions of work, materials used, and more. That person is not longer free, no longer able to experiment, to try new ideas. They must follow the many standard rules, to produce a standard product, which we can then expect a standard life span and standard user experience. That person is a wage slave, and their mind is expected to be shut off, merely to follow the rules.

--

We ourselves are the financial supporters of the slave/no-thinking mentality.

--

Every company, from small to large, causes the owners to get more renumeration than the workers. Its the same in my own company.

--

When the owner, boss, workers, start to receive money, they become anchored. They do not want to change. If they find out their product is less that wonderful, they sometimes improve the product, or they want to silence the bad-news messenger.

--

Doctors are anchored. They get lots of money, and prestige. Hospitals too. They want to promote messages and studies which say their product and services are great. They want to diminish negative news.

--

We look for the bad in other people. Not in ourselves. We are good, others are bad.

--

Food. We want to eat the tasty food, the cheaper food, the long shelf-life food, the foods with higher salt-oil-sugar content because we are built that way to enjoy those three. Fast food, junk food, packaged food, all delivery what we want. We do not want to grow our own foods, we do not want to restrict the fat in our foods. We want cheap and tasty food.

--

businesses don't make money on healthy people. Pharma, hospitals and doctors profit off sick people. Businesses don't make money cleaning up their factory waste - its cheaper to dump it or to even adulterate their products with it. Towns don't want to fully clean the waste water since it is far too expensive - making the water LOOK clean is all the is required.

--

We, ourselves, are the root of the problems. We look for the monsters out there - but not in our own behaviour's.

--

Health. No one is going to help you nor I get better. The Amish do it right. They grow their own food. They don't eat much added oil nor fat. The Hutterites do, and many of their colonies are hugely obese. The Amish don't use big machinery, thus they have small farms, and not much chemical use.

--

We get sick when we poison our bodies, and don't give ourselves a variety of simply foods, raw or limited processing. Stay away from all chemicals. Eat a lot of raw. Grow our own foods. Stay in the produce section of the grocery store. Eat more starches like rice, and potatoes. Consider every package as a trojan horse bringing in chemicals, metals, hormones, and antibiotics. This includes ALL MEAT excpet that which you raise and slaughter and process yourself. Once out of sight, anything can be done to it.

--

We go to the hospital at our own risk. They can and do kill people, and they are the ones whom investigate the deaths inside their walls. Covid did not introduce new monster behaviour. Read the history of hospitals. A place of death, and danger.
